Mit dem poetischen Bild eines fliegenden Blattes zieht die Arbeit KNÜLLSTRÖÖM Parallelen zu Flugexperimenten im Allgemein, sowie an diesem Ort stattfindende Virtualisierungsprozesse, bei welchen mittels Flug- und Stömungssimulation, kongruente Versuchsanordnungen in den virtuellen Raum übertragen werden.

Eine schwarze aufwärts in die Lüfte ragende Spitze oberhalb der Faltskulptur verweist humorvoll auf das von ihm verdeckte DLR Logo, welches gegebenenfalls an dieser Stelle Bestandteil der Fassade sein könnte. Das durch den imaginären Luftstrom in Teilen an die Wand gepresste Blatt Papier gibt dabei fragmentarisch dessen räumliche Umrisse wieder.

With the poetic image of a flying leaf, the work KNÜLLSTRÖÖM draws parallels to flight experiments in general, as well as virtualization processes taking place at this location, in which congruent test arrangements are transferred to virtual space by means of flight and flow simulation.

A black tip above the folding sculpture that protrudes into the air makes a humorous reference to the DLR logo that it is hiding, which could possibly be part of the facade at this point. Parts of the sheet of paper pressed against the wall by the imaginary flow of air reflect its spatial outlines in fragmentary form.
